Introduction
The term drawing is applied to works that vary greatly in technique. Drawing is a form of visual art in which an artist uses instruments to mark paper or another two-dimensional surface. The role of drawing in education remains critical, and not just to be creative disciplines in art and design for which it is foundational. The purpose of this module is to learn technical drawing in different technique or different way. We learned the basics on representation of how to translate natural and built environment through drawing. The aim of this module is to explore various of drawing technique and method to utilize it as a communications skill in introduction industry. The learning outcome of this module is to identify the type of drawing technique, to learn how to use different drawing tools like scale ruler, T Square etc. lastly, we learn how to apply 3D drawing into 2dimension drawing.
ASSIGNMENT 1
we are required to draw the plan view, elevation and section of a selected item. This exercise requires us to draw a 1:1 drawings of an item of our choice. One top view, 1 front view ,2 elevations and 1 section. The drawings were to be completed as detailed as possible.
ASSIGNMENT 3
A group assignment that requires us to design a mini house. There are few layout that provided in the brief, then we are supposed to select the specific location and choose the material used and furniture in the IKEA catalogue. The design would then be drew on paper and ink with art line pen. The technical drawings included 1 site plan,1roof plan(extra), 1 floor plan, 2 elevations and 1 sections.
ASSIGNMENT 2
This is a individual assignment that are required to draw the plan view, elevation and section of our choice of area in our house. This requires us to measure our area accurately and produce a drawing of One top view, 2 elevations , 1 section and detailed drawing of our selected loose furniture.
