ASSIGNMENT 1- INTRODUCTION TO TECHNICAL DRAWINGS
TASK
we are required to draw the plan view, elevation and section of a selected item. This exercise requires us to draw a 1:1 drawings of an item of our choice. One top view, 1 front view ,3 elevations and 1 section. The drawings were to be completed as detailed as possible.
OBJECTIVE
• The ability to observe and to interpret, record, organize and describe the forms and shapes of an item.
• The ability to impart understanding on plan view, elevation and section view and ability to express three-dimensional object into two-dimensional orthographic drawings.
DURATION
4 weeks
PROGRESS
For this assignment , I choose what I want and draw a 1:1 object for this exercise. I decided to do some research on the object that I choose as in the detailing of the object the complicated level of the object and etc. Then, I proceed to the next step which is drafting out the object and show my lecture during tutorial . I also practiced the architectural lettering and write it in my title block . Lastly, I was able to complete this assignment in 4 weeks and hand in my work on time!
Reflection
THINKING AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS
In the end of this assignment, I was able to figure out the problem that I faced and try my best to solve it . By doing this, I learned to think critically when drawing in the this assignment.
DISIPLINE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE
At the end of the assignment, I realize that I learned how to manage my time properly so that I get to complete my work efficiently. To make sure everything works smoothly, I create a timetable and plan my work so that I won't be lacking time to complete my work.
